Split PDF — Extract Pages from a PDF Online
Need only part of a PDF? Upload your document, choose the pages or ranges you want and download them as a new PDF — or split every page into its own file. It all runs in your browser, so your document stays on your device.
How to use the PDF Splitter
- Upload one PDF file.
- Select pages by tapping the page numbers or by typing ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10.
- Choose what to create: one PDF with the selected pages, one PDF per range, or one PDF per page.
- Press Extract and download your files — multiple files arrive together as a ZIP.
How page ranges work
Separate individual pages with commas and write ranges with a dash. “1-3, 7, 10-12” selects pages 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 11 and 12. Pages are always included in the order you type them, so “5, 1-2” puts page 5 first.
Three ways to split
“One PDF with selected pages” gathers everything you chose into a single new document. “One PDF per range” turns each comma-separated part into its own file, which is perfect for dividing a book into chapters. “Every page as its own PDF” creates one file for each page of the document.
Ideas & examples
- Send one page of a contract: Extract just the signature page instead of emailing the whole 40-page agreement.
- Chapters from a manual: Type 1-12, 13-30, 31-48 and choose “One PDF per range” to get three separate chapter files.
- Remove unwanted pages: Select every page except the ones you do not want and save the result as a clean copy.
